  • No we do not. Please use The Babe Cave’s online booking system for appointments.

  • Missed appointments will be charged 100% of the booked service.

    Cancelled appointments will be accepted 24 hours in advance at no charge.

    For cancelled appointments with less than 24 hours notice, 100% of the booked service will be charged.

  • Online booking remains open for new clients, however, only between the hours of 9:30am-5:30pm.

    Night and weekend appointments are reserved for regular clients, unless discussed otherwise.

FAQs - WAXING

  • If you have been shaving, allow a minimum of 2 to 3 weeks or ΒΌ inch of hair growth.

  • Do not apply self tanners, lotions, body sprays, deodorants and other topical creams before your appointment.

    Gently exfoliate the area 24 hours before your appointment to remove dead skin cells and allow for a cleaner wax.

    Make sure you are showered and clean.

    Wear comfortable clothing.

  • Although everyones pain tolerance is different, waxing does get easier over time if you come regularly . Typically the first wax is worst and as your hair begins to grow back thinner, it is less painful to remove.

  • Some clients find that taking an Advil or Tylenol 1 hour before their appointment helps with the pain. Please consult with a health care professional. Topical Numbing cream can also be applied 1 hour before your appointment and can be removed when you get here.

  • Hot tubs, saunas, working out and sexual activity (Brazilian) should be avoided for 24 hours post-wax.

    For best results post-wax, exfoliate 2 to 3 times weekly (wait 24 hours post-wax) and be sure to moisturize daily.

  • Yes! You may be more sensitive during this time but as long as you have a fresh tampon or menstrual cup in, you are good to go!

  • Absolutely! Your sensitivity to waxing may be higher while pregnant, especially for a Brazilian wax due to more blood flow to the vagina. This means you are more likely to lift or bruise. When pregnant you may wish to try our Brazilian half and half or the Brazilian with hard wax.

  • Waxing appointments are usually scheduled every 4-6 weeks. To see full results, it is recommended to come regularly and do not shave in between appointments.

    • No shaving for at least 2 weeks pre wax.

    • Hair must be at least 1/4 of an inch long ( about the size of a grain of rice)

    • Exfoliate and moisturizer the night before appointment

    • Please some freshly showered to your appointment with no lotions on

    • Do not fake tan the area before your wax as the wax will removal the tan

    • No hot tubs, pools, saunas, working out or sexual activity for 24 hours post wax.

    • Avoid direct sun expose for 24 hours.

    • Apply sunscreen to treated areas.

    • After 24 hours, exfoliate the area 3 x a week and moisturizer everyday.

    • Retinol or prescribed topical ointments. Please stop 2 weeks prior for facial waxing.

    • Accutane ( must be off medications for at least 6 months to 1 year.

FAQs - PIERCINGS

  • Yes we sure do! It is recommended to wait until the baby has received their first DTP vaccination.

  • We use the Inverness System which uses a hand pressured instrument to pierce the ear.

  • You can change your piercing after the healing period. (earlobe 6 weeks, cartilage 12 weeks.)

  • We can pierce anything along the outer ring of the ear.

  • We do not numb the ears at the time of the appointment. However, we do sell Zenza numbing cream which you can purchase and apply 1 hour prior to your appointment.

  • We have lots of earrings to choose from including 24 carrot gold plated, surgical stainless steel, and medical grade titanium.

  • Minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the Release Authorization Form.

    • Numbing cream can be applied 1 hour prior to your appointment if needed.

    • Clean the pierced area twice a day with a saline solution or piercing aftercare solution. Gently rotate the earrings while cleaning to prevent them from sticking to the skin.

    • Avoid touching the piercing with dirty hands to prevent introducing bacteria and causing infection.

    • Avoid swimming in pools, hot tubs, or natural bodies of water until the piercing is fully healed to prevent exposure to bacteria.
